1) At some point in marriage, love may fade, you will only need commitment to survive. Especially when your partner changes from the person you knew initially.
2) As a woman, enjoy your single life now because when you marry, you could let go of certain lifestyle and pleasure because of kids and family responsibilities especially if you marry a man that's not supportive.
3) As a man, when you marry, you must let go of certain life for your family reputation and integrity.
4) Attraction Wanes. This is one of the things nobody tells you about marriage. Even if you marry the most beautiful woman or a handsome man, the attraction will certainly wane.You may feel that your partner is no longer attractive or your partner may feel the same about you. But still, the marriage can survive when you fall in love with your partner's soul and content not just the body.
4) Your in-laws are not your friends. Relate with them with caution. Your mother in-law is not your mother. Maintain a healthy relationship but avoid see finish.
5) You can stay many months without sex because of responsibilities.
6) Marriage is work, you work to make it work.

7) You need to forgive because you will inevitably be offended.
8) Childbirth can alter your physical appearance or cause damage to your body. A successful child birth is a miracle.
9) If you marry someone who feels he or she is too good for you, you will be unhappy and miserable. The person will always make you feel less, like you're privileged to marry him/her.
10) Sometimes you will hide to eat because of the kids.
11) Even if you're faithful, you can still contract infection from a cheating partner.
12) Sometimes even when you're not in the mood, you need to satisfy your partner's sexual desire.
13) Sometimes you feel like your partner is the best in the world. After some weeks, you feel like your partner is the worst. You feel like you were brainwashed into accepting the marriage.
14) Your wife can fill the whole room and wardrobe with her clothes.
15) If you marry a man that is obsessed with you, talking to other men is a big offense. It can lead to domestic violence.
16) The person you marry can determine your lifespan, health and success in life.
17) The thought of what to cook can drain you.
18) Sometimes giving a man peace of mind is allowing him to cheat without confronting him. Sad.
19) Raising kids can be draining.
20) If you're a career driven person, marry a supportive partner, Marry someone who is eager to aspire. If you marry unsupportive partner or someone who settles for status quo, you will suffer.
21) Don't be fond of reporting your partner's little mistakes to your family. It will reduce the respect they have for your partner.
22) Don't bring a third party to live with you without agreement with your partner else there may be issues. And when there is agreement, during the course of time, if the third party misbehave and your partner starts complaining, listen or caution.

23) Mind what you discuss with your mother in-law. Your mom and mother in-law are two different beings.
24) Don't disclose your bád past to your partner else it might be used against you during argument.
25) A woman who doesn't respect you cannot truly love you.
26) Respect is a two way street.
27) The way your partner treats you can significantly influence how others perceive and treat you, including their family. If you marry someone who frequently embarrasses you, you may become a subject of ridicule or sympathy in public.
